Copy Completed in USB but when i Replug it op

Specs: Windows XP
There is a problem with my Kingston USB Data Traveler 16GB and that is my i copy the files into it, it copied completely but when i replug the usb to check my files it doesnt open..i have tried formatting my usb but it didnt work...Tell me the solution PLEASE.

Some USB have the same problem you are having. One thing we don't know is that USB's are sensitive. Sometimes overusing USB affects its performance and durability, sometimes forgetting to safely remove it before unplugging may result to malfunction. Formatting it may be a solution but if it doesn't work either, try changing its drive. Go to my computer and click manage. Then under storage is disk management. This displays current removable disk that is inserted in your computer. Once you see your pen drive try to change its drive letter path by right clicking it. Change to any letter and then Ok. See if its successful. But if not, There's a format option there. Try it. Hope this helps
