Hi all,
Question. I would like to add another regular 12Vdc case cooling fan to my computer. So to power that fan I would splice into any 12V (yellow) and Gnd (black) wires coming off the PSU?

If you find you're going 'round in circles, perhaps you're cutting corners.

You could but you would be better getting a Molex adaptor than can split the connection going to your IDE devices.

Thanx Stuart. Think I'll go with the Molex adaptor.

Ask for a 'Y' power adapter cable.
