I bought a 160GB internal hard drive a couple of years ago. When I tried to put it in my PC that I got Christmas 2004, I couldn't find any places to put it in. I'm just wondering if there is anything that I can buy so that I can use that hard drive in my computer because I'm planning on completely reformatting my hard drive but I have almost 70gb of files to back up.

You can buy 3.25" external hard drive cases in pretty much any computer store and they are pretty cheap. Just make sure you get one compatible with your HDD as alot of cases I have seen only accept 80-120Gb HDD's. But they are the cheap ones. Once you get it all you do is open up the case, plug in the hdd and, close the case and plug the power in and the usb to you computer then it should run without having to install drivers etc.

Hi, Matt is right, but you also may have to format the drive. Usually no big deal. Jim

Can you please find me another one because it specifically states that it's not compatible with Windows XP. I'm not good with searching for things.
