My HD is constantly writing. I started to notice this the other day. I have done a full system scan and have also run spybot and some others as well, It all came back clean. and when I say writing it's writing like hours on end. Any Ideas? The only time it is quiet is when another program is running but soon after you close down the open program it starts and it don't stop.

Thanks in advance for the help..

Marc.

well it could be a few things....

how much memory is in the system?

p3 with 98se?

any backup software runing on it?

or system save software kind of stuff?

or a constant virus scanner going wild?

well....it is a start...
