Hi guys.. pardon my ignorance. But I am building a new PC and got an 8800GT video card and well maybe the new LCD’s use the DV1 connectors?? I dunno. But I am still using CRT’s so do I need to get an adapter to use this on a CRT or do I have to just get an LCD? Thanks., and if so what kind of connector do I need??

Some LCDs come with a DVI connector, which is a digital connection. But you don't have to get an LCD monitor. Get a DVI to VGA adapter. Make sure that it's the kind that will plug into the VGA connection on your monitor and the DVI connection on your video card. By the way, it seems a little unusual to get an 8800 GT card and use it with a CRT monitor.
