That mixer has the 48 volt phantom power needed to run the condenser mic so you won't need batteries for the mic. go to any pro music store and get yourself a mic cable made for low impedance microphones and just plug it in.

All you need is an XLR to XLR microphone cable.
The item description in the ad is wrong. It is NOT a USB microphone.
