Purchase a power converter from DC to AC, should be at least 300w or better. That converts the 12Vdc to 110/120vac. Just plug it in after that, but beware, it will put a substantial drain on your battery.

The computer plugs into an AC outlet and then your power supply converts it to DC outputs of different voltages(5V, 12V, 3.5V, etc) which your peripherals and drives use. You should make sure that your car's engine is running if you want to do this, because as was said it will drain your batter pretty quickly.

Like has been mentioned, you buy a cig lighter adapter and then just plug in your regular computer cable while using your current PSU. You don't have to worry about any voltage conversions then. Why reinvent the wheel when your PSU does it already.
