Hy guys,I want to connect my office coppier to my pc(it has a printer function aswell)but it has no connectors or something....could a module of some kind be instaled so i could connect it to a computer......It's a gestetner aficio 1502....thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you checked the Gestetner manual.

Generally the various options are detailed there.

Also would have thought Gestetner would be better placed to answer this query. They have a comprehensive website.

Advise how you get on.

I believe your Gestetner is made by Ricoh. The print function is an option that is probably accessed through an ethernet RJ-45 connection. If you don't have the option module installed it will probably cost more than a standalone printer. See you office machine rep.

i don't have an Rj-45 connection..........would a print server solve that?

Probably not. There may different i/o options available, USB, parallel, ethernet and wireless. If you don't have any ports then probably no options were installed. I recommend you check the documentation that came with the unit. The printer option has 2 cd's for the drivers. As mentioned in my previous post the addon cost is probably greater than the cost of a standard standalone laser printer.

Check you manuals and sales receipts, then your sales rep. If you don't have any connections then you don't have the printer option. If you have a RJ-11 jack then you have the fax option.
