Comment: I don't get the whole subject. How to be able to take advantage of this feature ? Let's start, 3 DIMM sockets, with the 3rd & last socket with DDR400 support. What does that mean ? Let's say i buy 2 of 256MB PC3200 mem sticks. Now what ? And second, what if i buy only one 512MB PC3200 stick ?

Reply: (edit)Dual DDR400, means that there are two memory channels, by default most nForce2 boards are configured as follows: Slot 1 and 2 - Channel 1 Slot 3 - Channel 2 It is kinda stupid, but hey, I'm not a systems/electronics engineer. If you get 2 256MB sticks, you will be able to run 512MB of RAM in dual channel configuration. If you buy 1 512MB stick you will be running 512MB of RAM in single channle configuration. Dual channel isn't all that special, but hey, why not take advantage of it.
