conflicting serial #'s

Subject: conflicting serial #'s
OS: ME
CPU/Ram: 633\64
Model/Manufacturer: HP Pavilion
Comment:
I want to increase my Memory from 64Mb to whatever I can cheaply. This is my problem. My nephew repaired my vertical tower Pavilion and put it in a horizontal HP Vectra case. The back of the case has the serial and product # of the Vectra. When I click Ctrl/Alt/s it gives me HP Pavilion support information as follows.
support ID 15-1441-0005-0303-9948
model # 6735
product # P1441A-ABA
serial # KR03039948
When I went to Belarc Advisor it gave me this
System Model
00101880 6735 151441100050303
System Serial Number 9948HPPAV3
Main Circuit Board Trigem Computer,Inc.
Cognac
BIOS:Phoenix Technologies LTD
2.02 07/14/00
Hard Drive is 80Gb capacity with 71.99 Gb Free Space
Now I see the HP Pavilion support ID seem to be Identical to the Belarc System Serial Number (except for the HPPAV3 at the end). The serial # in the HP support ID# also is contained in the Belarc System Serial Number But it doesn't have the KR in it. What is the KR or what serial# and product# should I give when I try to find out what memory module I need. Also could I also get an improved graphics module so I can get some decent games and can I get the ability to see 3D maps. I didn't see anything in all these numbers that even resemble the serial and product numbers on the back of the Vectra case so I assume those are not of the motherboard that is inside of the case and that they are totally irrelevant to me. Thanks alot if you can straighten this out for me. I want to improve this Pavilion with windows ME as well as I can because I cannot afford another computer with my disability income . This one was given to me.

Go to both the links below and allow them to scan your system. This should yield information on compatible memory. To see what options you have for graphics try running SIW.exe. This utility is like Belarc but more comprehensive.

I would simply go to Crucial.com and run their scan. The scan will give you various options on available configurations.
Crucial prices are competitive and they guarantee their products.
Done deal!

I didn't intend to post twice but I got a message implying I only had one word in the subject line which is insufficient. No matter, I see the post is on now so thats straightened out.

The PC case has nothing it do with it. If your internal components are from a Pavilion 6735, that is what you have. Your board uses 168-pin SDR-SDRAM (PC66 or PC100).

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...

It takes a max of 256MB per slot. Here you go:
