Computer won't start

OS: win 98
CPU/Ram: pentium II and 96MB

I tried to turn my computer on the other day and it won't turn on.The green light will not even come on with the sound.i checked all the electrical wire connections and there is nothing wrong with the connections and also with my power outlet.what should I do as my computer won't start at all.No green light,no sound,no sound of fan runnig.

Did you check the switch on the power supply? (At the back by the main AC cord) If it is set to on then your power supply might be dead.
