I recently bought a new case and moved my motherboard from my old case to the new case. In the new case the motherboard appears to have power. The CPU fan will come on but nothing else happens. The computer won't even POST. I checked the processor and RAM to verify it was seated properly. I was never able to get the board to POST, even with every peripheral disconnected. I put the board back in the old case. In the old case the CPU fan will not even come on and it doesn't seem to be getting power. In an attempt to salvage the board I put it back in the new case. The CPU fan will still come on in the new case. If anyone has any ideas about how to get the board working in either case please let me know. I appreciate your help. thanks!

When you put in the new board, did you have the same amount of stand offs in the case as holes in the mobo? If you had any extra stand offs where the mobo rests on but doesn't have a cooresponding screw, you will kill the motherboard.
