Well, it happened today, i came home from school, i turned on the computer (i made it myself) then it powered up, but there was no beep or the STOP, then i saw that my monitor was in standby, like when you turn it on but not the PC; then i saw that neither the mouse's (Logitech G5 v.1) or the keyboard's (Logitech G15 v.1) LEDs were on, then i tried to see inside my case (Silverstone TJ-6B) to see if the Blue LEDs of the Fans and Video Card (ATi Radeon X1950GTX) and HDD (WD Caviar 3200 (320GB)) were on, they were on; they were, then i tried opening one of the two CD-DVD drives bay, it opened, then i tried shutting it down with a short push on the power button (since the MB (Asus DUAL-VSTA775) is ATX) and i waited, since it takes time, then nothing so i reset the PC instead, yet nothing happened, so i turned the PSU switch to Off (without turning off the PC), and then on, and a spark came out (since it has Short circuit, over voltage, etc protection, i didn't worry about burning down my house :D) then i turned the PC on, then nothing, i thought the PSU fried so i changed the connection switch and then, back to the beginning, if you have any questions about the PC components so you can help me, please post it and I'll happily answer it, since I built it, i still remember all their names :D, thanks a lot.

"i thought the PSU fried so i changed the connection switch"

If the PSU is fried, it needs to be replaced. Then you have to hope that it didn't fry any other components when it blew. Why would you change the switch?

If you have sparks flying you definitely haven't fixed it.

It didn't sparked like a spark it was just like an electrical discharged that appeared as a sudden raise of magnetif fields which cause an optical phenomena

I think you should get that power supply changed ASAP, regardless of whether it's working fine or not.

the power supply is fine, it didn't sparked (it was just that i moved my head and the light reflected and i thought it was a spark (i know cause i did it again)) and then gimme the money if you want me to replace it, because i don't have funds.

Guy, I don't care if you replace it or not. You need to convince yourself, not us.

Yeah I agree, if it's really an optical illusion that you saw, don't mess with it.
