Hi there.

Am a bit of a noob when it comes to computers so hope you understand this! The other day I removed my hard drive to put another in, the other one didnt work in my computer so I placed the original back in, and now my computer wont boot past the PCI device listing screen! Booted the Windows Vista Repair CD and reformatted Hard Drive but still will not load! Won't load ANY hard drive that is tried in there!!

Try booting in setup. When you first you will see press f12 or delete to enter setup (the key varies by machine). Start tapping that key when you first power up the machine until you see (entering setup). Once your in the bios use the arrow keys to navigate. Look for optimized defaults. High light that. Hit enter. Hit yes if prompted. Now look for save and exit. Highlight that. Hit enter. Hit yes and enter. The machine should now reboot. G/l.
