First, what I have:

MB: A8N-SLI Deluxe
CPU: 3200+ San Diego (??) 939 socket, 2.2ghz
RAM: 3GB in 1GB sticks each
PSU: Coolermaster 600w
CASE: Coolermaster Elite 330
GPU: NV 9400GT SLI
HDD: IDE main drive, working on a 500gb SATA auxiliary drive.

Other than a couple of DVD drives which I've detached anyways in the course of troubleshooting, that's about it.

My Problem:
Somewhat randomly, but mostly after I've done anything in the case (I've just put this PC together and have had to be in and out of it a few times) the PC will not start up correctly. I'll push the power button, and the power and HDD lights will come on (the HDD will come on and stay on, fwiw), and the fans and drives inside will spin up, but there is no response from the GPU (no monitor) and the MB does not post or beep at all. The A8N should at least give some audible response, beep or something, and in this case, it does nothing.

I've peeked inside the case while it was running, and after a few seconds of just spinning the fans and such, the CPU fan will spin down, then start and stop erratically a few times. This problem has been remedied a couple of times so far by just pulling apart/ replacing everything in the chassis, sometimes as far as removing the MB.

I've bench tested the MB-PSU-GPU-HDD combo with all three sticks of ram individually, and it showed no signs of misbehaving. I've also tried a second PSU and pulling all of the unnecessary pin connectors (pwr light, beep speaker, etc) and even switching the pwr/reset button connectors around incase one was bad. (they use the same kind of switch, so it doesn't make a difference) I've tried pretty much everything I can think of to diagnose this.

The PC has also reset itself randomly a few times, but has also shown the ability, once it gets running, to be stable for hours and hours of heavy use (gaming, etc), so I can't figure out what causes it.

The chassis fan and an aftermarket Chipset fan both show no RPM in the bios, and both are 3 wire and should show something. dunno if that's important, just trying to get everything.

Can anyone help?
