Hi

My computer shuts down like 5-10 seconds after I boot up (so doesn't even get to Windows loading). I have two sticks of 512MB heatsinked RAM in there, and this doesn't happen if I remove either one. But if I have both then it does.

The motherboard/CPU/RAM has been used by it's previous owner and they never said anything so not sure what the problem is.

Any help appreciated,
Thanks

Hmm now it makes no difference with the RAM, so it can't be that. I think it might be the CPU over heating, though it has a heatsink and fan and everything on it, how can I test this??
