I am running windows xp and I want to install windows vista on my laptop computer but I am experiencing a weird problem that is preventing me from doing it. When I insert my windows vista DVD and load it from boot my computer randomly shuts down while the disk's contents are being read. At first I thought it could just be the DVD causing this but I have found that my computer will also turn off in my BIOS setup as well after about 15-20 seconds. If I load xp straight up without loading the DVD or entering my BIOS my computer does not turn off and xp runs fine, so I think the problem has something to do with the BIOS? Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Thanks
