Oh...THERE'S a reason....

Ideas? Is this a desktop or laptop? Make/Model?

- Is it Blue Screening & auto restarting? This could be a driver issue, corruption, flaky hardware.

- Is it shutting down normally & powering off?
Or is it shutting down instantly like someone pulled the power plug? This could be a power supply issue, or a loose power connection inside the PC.

- Is it shutting down normally, then starting back up on its own? This could be a boot loop caused by a virus, system corruption, bad hardware, bad motherboard (check the MOBO for bad capacitors).

MOOOOooove! OH and you're welcome!

In my case the power supply unit is overheating and shuts my lap top down. What I did is placed a hand towel over the power suppy and put a frozen (water) pint container on top of the towel to cool it. It works! It stopped my lap top from shutting down!

Just keep it away from your pc and remember to re-freeze it.

Make sure the frozen container used to cool the power supply has a lid!
