Computer Shutdown Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
I was playing Fifa 09 and my pc just turned off like if i pulled the plug.
I know it is not a virus because i have malwarebytes and AVG internet security.
Its not the power that went out because i have a UPS.
I suspect that the processor got to hot and the pc automatically shut itself off.
Is there some sort of system log where I can see why the pc shutdown like it did?

Try looking at the temp in the bios.

Speedfan can monitor temp in windows.

An over temperature shutdown by the bios is the most likely reason, and it wouldn't show up in the event logs.

Try to reproduce the problem by playing a game until it happens. when it shuts off again, take off the side panel and play again. If the PC doesnt shut off with the side panel off of the case, the problem has been isolated as heat related. Better cooling /airflowwill then be needed.
