Computer Randomly Shutting Down

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, 2.994 GHz / 1013 MB
My Computer Randomly Shuts Down! I tried Replacing ram and it didn't do the trick, i reinstalled windows, so it's probably a hardware issue. It happens very randomly, sometimes i'm just surfing the web.
Also, some programs just shut off and display an error message. When I am Playing World Of Warcraft it just turns off and displays and error message. Can Anyone Help?
i have been thinking about taking it to a professional and having them check it, but i want a second oppinion, or if i can do it at home

Check to see if the bios shows your machine's temperatures. If not, you can use a program like 'Speedfan' to display/check them.
Your box might need a cleaning. If so, use a can of compressed air, not a vacuum cleaner. Don't forget about the power supply, make sure that there is good airflow through it.

error message would help us.

See event viewer. See dump logs.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
