The green light on my computer will come on. When I press the button the computer fans and everything comes on as if the computer is on but the green light will not come on and the monitor. I been having this for a while now it will usually come on if i unplug the computer for about 5 minutes, but every since my son got on he said it froze up and he turned it off but every since then it will not come on at all anymore. I been trying to get it to turn for hours now but still nothing has changed.

If it's an eMachines, it's likely the power supply is bad.
