On Sunday my computer is working fine. On Monday it won't turn on. During this time I moved it from my old apartment to my new one. When I get it to the new apartment and hook it up, it won't turn on. The fan tries to turn but nothing happens. Thinking it could be dusty inside, I open it up and blow the dust out.

I hook up just the power cord and turn it back on. It works. I unplug the power cord and then hook everything (monitor, keyboard, etc.) back in. Now it doesn't turn on. It only seems to turn on succesfully once and then no more.

Help!

sounds like a faulty power supply to me...they sometimes go with no warning whatsoever.

Check all ur cables and see if anything got shook loose on the move.

The fact that you have moved the computer from one place to another is a clue to what might be the problem. Some computers just do not travel very well.

Take the lid of the case and re-seat everything in sight. Power leads, memory modules, video card, in fact anything that is in a socket. It only needs something be a millimetre out of place and all sorts of strange things can happen.

It just puzzles me why it will start sometimes, but not others.

I would say if you can try another power supply that things will work for you (it looks like an older PC by your specs)
