So this is how my computer greets me this morning (and I want to ralph, right about now). Any ideas what could be causing this? When I hit the power button, the fans light up and the system beeps on POST but then turns itself off. It's not even on long enough to see anything on the monitor. Everything was fine a mere 6hrs ago when I turned off the machine. So far I've tried different outlets and different plugs. Is is possible that there is a short circuit somewhere, like the motherboard making contact with the case or something? I've already replaced the power supply but that wasn't the problem. These are the specs:

Soltek SL-75DRV mobo
Athlon XP 1600 cpu
Fortron 350W p/s
512 MB DDR
Radeon 8500 AGP

Thank you for your help!!

You're losing power somewhere. Try unplugging the hard drive then reboot.

I solved the problem, I changed the IDE cables and I reset the BIOS and one or the other solved the problem. Thanks!
