Disconnect the DVD drive and try connecting just the hard drive.

FWIW to XP users: When you click on the 'Command Prompt' you are just causing the 'Command prompt' to be displayed. This prompt gives you access to NTVDM.EXE, the 'NT Virtual DOS Manager'.

Also turn off your caps lock, it's rude and hard to read.

No need to use profanity, and to reiterate USING ALL CAPS IS SHOUTING AND CONSIDERED RUDE!!!!!

Did the problem just start happening? What preceded it? What are the jumper settings on the drive(s)?
