Hello, I have an Acer Predator g3620 (i7 3770. nvidia gt640 16gb RAM). Last night I left it downloading windows 8.1, it was working perfectly ive never opened it so I don't know anyrhing about its components further than the things i put first. I live in Europe if that affects something. So, yesterday at 3:00 am was working perfectly. Today when I woke up, it was swithched off, and when I switch it on, any of the perypheral werent working, the usb, the monitor. Ive tried several mice keyboards and even triying another monitor, but it still doesnt detect anything. Ive looked up, but people say thet it can be a lighthing that broke the cpu, i don't think it, i don't remember any storm during this night, and, I repeat, any of the peripherals is working there, the fans are working and it seems to boot ok. Thank you for your attention.

First thing to try (because it's easy) is to turn it off, remove the power plug, then hold the Power Off/On button in for about 20 seconds to discharge the motherboard components. It has been known to unstick things at times.

Assuming that doesn't help, let is know if it boots to Windows and shows the desktop or start screen. If so go to Device Manager and see if any errors are showing (usually yellow icons).

If you never ever see anything at all on the screen then let us know - we need to be sure we know what you are seeing.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
