Hi I have a question about my computer. I turned it off for the weekend and when I came back Sunday night the computer was making these WHRRRR WHRRRing noises. It then said my computer experienced a huge error. I dont know if that has anything to do with the noises. The noise seems to be coming from the fan or something. Sometimes the noise is really bad and sometimes it sounds normal. I was wondering what I could do to quiet it temporarily before I go back home for my dad to fix it. I opened up the case and cleaned out the dust on the fans. That didn't really help though. I'm assuming I'll just have to get newer fans. Thanks.

There are two types of rotating devices in your PC. Fans and harddrives. If it is a fan they are easily replaced. If the heatsink fan on the cpu fails you risk damaging the processor. "It then said my computer experienced a huge error." Unless you can tell us the error message anything else is guesswork.
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
