Computer locks up on reboot

Specs: Windows XP, 1 gb
I have an expansion drive which is working fine. However, with it connected, my computer locks up immediately on reboot. If I unhook it prior to the computer coming back on, it reboots fine. I can then plug in the cable and everything works OK.

Apparently your BIOS supports booting off a USB storage device. Unless that is desired, change the boot order so that the hard drive before the USB.
