Computer Lags (Hardware Issue)

September 15, 2011 at 10:10:52
Specs: Windows 7, Core2 Duo
I got an HP laptop nc6910 When the computer is cold (sat over night powered off) it works fine, but after a little time everything lags even the BIOS interface it is slow to react, windows boots forever... I thought it was CPU but i re did the thermal paste and cleaned it.. the fan works... Could this be caused by video chip getting hot ? I did not replace the thermal pads.
It has a fresh install of windows 7 on a new hard drive... but it has nothing to do with the hard drive since it lags in cmos set up screens as well.

Run hardware diags for clues.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
