Computer keeps freezing and crashing

Specs: Windows 7
About a week ago I was on a "naughty site" and my computer suddenly froze with colors were just everywhere. I didn't really think much of it until I rebooted my computer and every time I try to play Starcraft or watch TV from the multi-media center the same thing happens. I got scared and thought it was a virus so I restored my computer but I still have the problem. It started doing it with youtube but that was only when I had my graphics driver installed. My computer runs fine now but thats only if I don't install the graphic drivers. My graphics card is nothing special just a crappy 8400GS. Some of my friends said to upgrade my power supply. If anyone knows the cause of this problem or has solution a fellow gamer would be in great dept to you. Thanks.

Under the heading "Specs" all you list is Windows7.

Apart from that all we know is you have an 8400GS graphics card. We don't even know which OEM made the card.
"Some of my friends said to upgrade my power supply"

What are the specs of the existing powersupply? What motherboard? What CPU?
What and how much RAM? Which version of Win7 ? How many hard drives?
Which version of the graphics drivers are you having problems with?
Have you checked system temperatures? An overheating GPU can give the kind of symptoms you describe. Does your graphics card have active or passive cooling? If it has a fan is it working and have you cleaned it?
