My computer tends to hang for a few seconds every once in a while, usually within 5-10 minutes. I believe i
There was a period where this problem stopped, but at start up it would say 'CPU has been reworked' and I would have to press F1 to continue, but there was no more hanging.
I then turned off the thermal control and disable the fan speed on the cpu cooler in the bios, and it fixed the start up problem, but it went back to the hanging again.
When my computer was first being assembled, it would constantly just restart once it got to the bios. Since the jumpers on the mobo were 'fiddled' with the computer has always just restarted once before starting up fully.

Sounds like the cpu is overheating. Turning off thermal control and disabling fan speed didn't fix anything, only sent up a smokescreen to the system.
Whoever assembled this thing and did the fiddling missed the mark. There's one correct way to assemble and setup a machine and myriad incorrect ways.
Are you able to replace a cpu and do it properly? Likely, it'll have to come off the board and be reinstalled. Are you able to read the motherboard manual and set up motherboard & BIOS configurations?
