the last couple of days th computer has been getting hot and shutting off after about 40 minutes. i dont hear a fan running but dont remembr if i ever did. it is still under warranty but i dont want to lose it for a couple of weeks

Hi there, It seems to me that your laptop cooling system ( cooler ) is not working and i suggest you to return it as quick as you can and avoid using becuase it may harm the motherboard.
