Specs: Windows XP
Hi everyone, I previously post a question here saying that my sound suddenly goes wrong. I was playing a game and the sound effects are 'blurred', ' muffled' even though the background music is fine. Changed earpiece but problem still exist. I tried plug into the back jack of my computer and the sound came back to normal. Does this means the hardware of my front jack is spoilt or should i try reformat my computer and try if it works? My earpiece wire is not long enough to connect to the backjack from where i am sitted, so really needs help here. What do i do if i want to use the frontjack

This isn't a board front audio header problem, the front jack is bad.
I think the only way to fix it is to replace it.
Did u try to re-connect the front audio wire from motherboard header?

You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.

Fix the front jack or get a long extension for the rear.
