About 2 days ago I installed Battlefield 1942. In the middle of one of the levels, my computer suddenly crashed. It was one of those things where nothing would respond, and where I can still see the game on the screen. So I do a hard restart with the power switch, and ever since then, this problem occured a lot where suddenly the comp would crash (Anywhere from Gaming to Videos to Youtube!).

Now it has crashed, and when I restart it, I get all the way to the final welcome screen, but instead of getting the desktop, I get some messed up image, distorted shapes, etc.

Disabling the graphics card in safe mode lets me run the computer normally (Which is what I am doing now).

I can provide any extra information when asked. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Have you try lower the display resolution and see if it works?
