Computer Freezes up

I previously had an ECS K7S5A version 1.x, I upgraded to version 3.x in December of '02. Since that time I have noticed my computer locking up when playing a movie or game. I have only noticed it when the temperature in my case is above 100F. I am running Windows XP Pro, AMD Athlon 1.4GHz, GeForce4 MX440 128MB AGP, Samsung 40GB HDD, 512 PC133 SDRAM. I have never had a problem with my CPU overheating; it is running within standard operating temps (according to AMD). Please help, this is really starting to get on my nerves, since it is summer it is harder to keep it bellow 100F and actually do stuff without it freezing.

100F is nothin', your problem isn't heat. Unless of course whatever you're using to detect the cpu temperature is inaccurate, in which case it might be.
Might be AGP drivers, that would make sense, VIA 4-in-1 drivers if that mobo has a VIA chipset (which I bet it does). So if you have the latest ones and they suck, see if you can install older ones. If you have older ones and they suck, get newer ones.
