OS: WinXP SP1
CPU/Ram: Athlon64 3400/512MB Kings
Comment:

Symptoms:
- Screen freezes with current display
- No error messages
- Mouses freezes
- No response from keyboard commands
- Must be rebooted

Hardware:
CPU - Athlon64 3400+
RAM - 512MB Kingston HyperX PC3000
MOBO - Asus K8V
VID - ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB
Sound - SBLive! Platinum 5.1
HDD - WD 36.7GB Raptor 10k RPM SATA, 2x 30GB IDE, 1x 15GB IDE
Cooling - EXOS Liquid Cooling System
Power - 1x 400W (No Name Brand)

when in particular do these lockups occur. randomly?
or is it mainly when playing games ie putting hte machine under hard load?

win xp home oem
several other things
new pc on way

Randomly. No specific application/time period seem to cause it to freeze.

Bad mouse caused that problem for me.
