my computer freezes at the desktop everytime i start it. i have ran the memory diagnostic test from microsoft and it passed. I have tried to get into cmos by pressing f1 or esc key but cannot get in. the computer works perfectly fine in safe mode. i have also tried reinstalling the whole windows and the problem still exists.

Shut down your laptop. Hit the Power button and immediately press the ESCAPE key, you'll be prompted to press F1. Works on mine but mines old. If your system works in Safe Mode there is probably nothing in the BIOS that will fix your problem. Starting in Safe Mode indicates the problem is most likely a Driver issue. Check Device Manager amd Event Viewer, System And Applications for error messages that may illuminate the problem. Did you try "Last Known good Configuration" from the same menu as Safe Mode? There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.

i have already tried the last know good configuration in the safe mode, and i have also done the system restore plenty of times before but the problem still exists.
