Kind of a follow up to the last post. Someone here had a question about getting static from the plastic front end of a computer case. Would getting a slight static discharge from the front of a case cause any problems with compenents or is that even possible? Just curious.

Not unless the static is due to a grounding problem. If you're getting shocked by your computer you should verify you don't have a grounding issue. A little static isn't unusual especially if your tower is resting on the carpet or it's in a dusty environment.
