Specs: Windows Vista
Here is the quick story: GA-EP45-UD3P mobo/2-1gig sticks (Crucial 8500) ram/e8600 cpu/9800gt video/750gig samsung harddrive/plexter dvd wrighter/enermax infiniti 720watt power supply/tried both vista32 and 64 bit os

This computer worked just fine 3 for 3 months. One day I tried to print an invoice and the computer wouldn't print. Checked to see if printer was installed and to my surprise, no printer installed. Here is the catch. I had installed a printer and it worked great for 3 months and now it says no printer installed. Funny, my HP programs are installed just not printer driver. So, I reinstall printer from scratch. Now I can print again. Everything fine for about 5 days than all of a sudden I can't print. Check to see if printer is installed and no printer installed!! Weird. Anyway, I reinstall printer again. Works great for about 5 days and same problem again. Every 5 days my printer drivers disappear. What the heck is going on! Help!
Now my computer, if shut down, when I start up, I get 23 fast same tone beeps than 1 or 2 second pause than 23 fast same tone beeps. This can go one for 2 - 5 minutes. Then the computer posts just fine and computer works normally. But if I shut down the computer, Power off, turn on computer I get that nasty 23 beeps problem. I even formatted hard drive and thought the problem was gone because I had no more beep problems until I'm finished installing all my programs and some ware down the line, the beep problem returns. I have never in all my computer experience seen or even heard of these two problems. Any help please.

the 23 short beep code is a power error,
not helpful enough to track anything down , id suggest a check on the seating of power connectors especially on the mobo and graphics card.

As to the disappearing printer driver is common on vista if you google around see fitzgeralds post

Thanks for the speedy reply. Sorry, I've been trying to fix this computer with no sucess. Tried to wiggle the power wires around and others with no change to problem.
