Yes, get yourself a small UPS. That should solve the problem

A small UPS for home use isn't expensive and should also include a telephone socket to protect your telephone from lightening strikes.

This is what I have tried so far.

I have re-installed XP twice.
I have swapped Hard disk (both IDE and SATA)
I have tried different power/vga cables. keyboard, mouse, monitor.

There is nothing in the event viewer and i have unchecked the box regarding the auto reboot, this must be a hardware problem.

Sometimes I hear a distintive clicking sound before it reboots. On some occasions though the PC will run fine for hours on end and within games so its not overheating, on other occasions it can reboot 5 times in 1 hour!!!!

Any advice appreciated, thanks
