I would like to know if the Dell series 5, 7, 9, or 15 (@17.00 at Wal-Mart) ink cartridges will work properly in my Dell 720 printer. For some reason the recommended(by Dell) replacement for the 720 is the series 1 which costs $30.00. The original trial cartridge(standard series 1) gave me about 50 to 60 pages before fouling up - that's about 60 cents per print copy!
Also, will 'rebuilt' cartridges perform ok?

Hi

the original possibly had less than the full quotient of ink a normal refill has , epson sell new printers like this with trial cartridges ,possibly so do dell im not 100% sure, ,
Any way recycled or remanufactured just means an original cartridge has under gone just exactly that , what it says on the tin. Compatible means a clone of .
For either your never going to be sure of the quality of ink for photos and longevity of colour.
Its a case of buy and try.

if unsure weather its the same cartridge take an old one with you.
they should look like this

the price difference between original and recycled is absurd.
