I would like to know if the Dell series 5, 7, 9, or 15 (@17.00 at Wal-Mart) ink cartridges will work properly in my Dell 720 printer. For some reason the recommended(by Dell) replacement for the 720 is the series 1 which costs $30.00. The original trial cartridge(standard series 1) gave me about 50 to 60 pages before fouling up - that's about 60 cents per print copy! Also, will 'rebuilt' cartridges perform ok?

Compatible means a clone of . For either your never going to be sure of the quality of ink for photos and longevity of colour. Its a case of buy and try.
