Hi everyone,
One of my friends who bought an "ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 9600XT 128MB" card, and tried to install it into the AGP port of his "Compaq Presario s4300nx" computer. When he tried to turn on the PC, there is nothing on the screen(black screen). So what is wrong? His computer is Pentium 4 2.4GHz, 512MB DDR, and running Windows XP. Since his All-in-wonder card supports AGP 4x/8x, but it doesn't mention anything about AGP 1x. However, I have checked compaq website for his model of computer, but so far I couldn't find the info about the AGP port on his motherboard?

Take out the new card (from whatever it is plugged into) and put it baclk like it was. F10 on startup for Compaq.

Thank you. But there is nothing on the screen. Even if I press F10, then I couldn't see anything. Just imagine that it is like there is NO connection to the video card.

Did you plug the monitor into the right VGA port? Or is it still plugged into the replaced video adapter?
