I have a problem. I only have the CD-ROM drive, and no floppy. I cant boot from CD, and the HD is blank with the exception of a partial diagnostic partition. The Multiboot portion of the hard drive has been deleted, leaving only the basics in there so I cant set it to boot from CD. Any help?

Uhm...
You can't enter the BIOS setup screen on bootup and set your CDROM as first boot device?
Or...
The O.S. CD you have is not bootable?
Which is it?

Oddly enough, Ive found if I squeeze the right side of the laptop and hold my hand there tightly it will boot from CD, something is loose inside. Just have to now find a vise-grip to hold it in place long enough for me to install Windows 98 so I can upgrade the BIOS, then I can be done with that and load Linux on it.
So I guess we can call this solved.
But just to clarify, yes I can get into BIOS but certain sections of it are missing.
