Hi I have a compaq armada 1750 laptop and would like to know hows I can upgrade the ram, and how much it will upgrade to, also how bigger hard drive can I fit and how exactly do I remove the cd rom and replace it? I cant seem to find any official info on the compaq/hp website. Cheers

Hello Wifler, To remove the CD Drive. At the bottom edge of the keyboard, (near Alt and Ctrl) are two very small spring loaded lugs. Gently push them back towards the fromt edge of the PC and at the same time gently raise the front edge of the keyboard. (You can do one side then the other). Once the keyboard is raised you will see two screws that retain the CD Drive. Remove them and then with care the drive should slide forward.
