Does anyone know what may be the problem when Compaq Armada 1750 laptop can not boot neigher from floppy nor from CD? It was just fine before I deleted existing partitions and recreated diagnostic partition. I can easily enter into Compaq setup (diagnostic partition) and test ran from there doesn't show any problems. When I try to boot from eigher bootable Floppy or Win98 CD it keeps trying for about 1 min and then Non-System disk or disk error appears... Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Go to into your BIOS setup and see if boot from floppy is enabled. If it isn't enable it. Check the boot order, it should be set A, C, CD-ROM (if booting from the CD-ROM drive is supported) A dirty or misaligned floppy drive will cause failure to boot.
