comp wont turn on

ok here's the scoop ... everything is connected properly and but when the power is attached, the comp doesn't turn on ... there is a light on the motherboard that indicates when i power supply is attached but its off ... so is the network card light ... the power supply is working (tested it) and is set on 115 at the back ... the only thing i can think of as a problem is either the cpu or the motherboard ... can anyone help me??

Disconnect all the drives (power and signal. Pull all the cards except the video card.

i have the same problem with my board, its a k7n2 nforce2, and the only thing attached is the vid card ad processor. Looking on the internet i found that some people have gotten their system running by reseting the bios. anyone have any ideas.
