when i insert cd/dvd combo flashs for sometime then the MB busy light goes on and on ,sometimes(about 1 min) combo light goes on and reads cd but usually don't. i installed my windows but nothing right... my combo can not read data on my pc but it happens to be alright on any one else pc

if i eject the cd then the drive disappears from my computer as well as device manager and i have to refressh device manager

Install combo drive as 2ndary master using the master jumper seting...do not use cable select ASUS A7N8X-X Athlon XP 1800+ 8.5 x 200MHz 1024MB PC3200 2.5-3-3-7 Asus A9550GE/TD 128MB WinME/WinXP Pro SP1

i have set it slave on jumper setting on combo. but did not helped, my processor is used so much that pc almost hangs when inserted another dvd combo ran but stopped and window asking that "insert correct volume",looking for the previous dvd. is secondary master something else..
