I have a recent problem with my wife's computer where on a cold boot only, I get a blue screen. The text is sometimes distorted, other times not even recognizable.
Shutting off and restarting, it will then always boots normally.
My first thought is power supply, and searching I found this to be the case for another user.
No recent hardware or software changes have been made.
