i am a person with no patience but im working on
it... lol. ok, i had a 2.25GB hard drive before but
hey i got it for free and i used it for like 2 weeks
untill i got enough money for an 80GB. about the
saving thing im 12 years old so i dont have a job.
I installed the hard drive properly and i put an
operating system disk into the cd-rom and when it
starts up it says CMON/GPNV CHECKSUM BAD.
Then it asks me if i want to F1 setup or F2 load
default values and continue. i tryed both but
nothing happens. any help would be greatly
eppriated. Thanks.

A CMOS checksum `normally' means a motherboard battery needs replacing.
