Comment: When my computer boots, I get this at post: CMOS checksum error - defaults loaded. What exactly does this mean? dead battery? Bad ram count? Thanks in advance!

Reply: (edit)Easiest solution is to buy a new battery! usually the reason why the BIOS chip loses its user setup information
