A good place to get a BIOS is from the motherboard manufacturer

There's a CMOS configuration problem, that's why pressing F2 works. But the defaults are usually not the optimal values.

Need some clarification: sometimes when you switch on the computer doesn't power-up at all, as in No Electric or response? Dead? Or do you mean that it will not boot past the BIOS? Or do you mean that you don't even see the BIOS screen on the monitor?

Hi,

"then i use to remove its BIOS cell for 2 minutes and then put it agian back"

Do you mean that you actually unplug the BIOS-chip? I wouldn't do that to often. You'll risk damaging it or the connector for it.
I have a mobo that is having the same problem, for over 2 years now, but as I'm using it as a server and never turn it off, it isn't really a problem.
The solution I found is similar, but not so risky to damage the hardware.
Look in your manual to find the jumper that can be used to clear CMOS-memory. This has the same effect as removing the battery for a while.

I never really found a good solution, but my guess is that there's a little problem with the mobo (some short-circuit or a bad conductor...)

If you are still under garanty, return the motherboard!

Johan

when you remove the bios "cell" or battery, you clear the cmos thats why its says

CMOS settings wrong
CMOS Checksum error
Press F1 to run setup
Press F2 to load default values

that is normal, but your problem is your motherboard, try checking all power connections( disconnect and connect) and refit all the cards and cables and clean your PC usually that helps with the intermittent power problem, if not replace it

Yes, ok, did you try that jumper-trick I gave you?

In my case, I did try to reseat all cards, memorysticks, cables etc, but that didn't help, so I'm also hoping someone else found a better solution...
